Question by Andrea T: How many calories does an average person burn in a normal day – without any additional “exercise”?
I’m just wondering how many of the average 1800 calories a woman typically consumes per day are burned through natural daily activity. I’m trying to figure out how much exercise I really need to be doing to burn more calories than I consume, therefore eventually losing weight.

Answer by Burning Rocks
Metabolism slows down gradually as you get older.

Weight highers your metabolism and so does height.

Anyways don’t take less that 1,500-1,200 calories a day or your metabolism will go madly down.

If you didn’t know metabolism=calories your body uses to stay active/alive
