Question by afspooky: Weight Loss Help Please?
Hello everyone.

I am 20 years old. I am about 5′5″ (quite short, I know) and weigh almost 160lbs. I am a bit overweight but I don’t think I would have to loose that much weight in order to be average. My ultimate goal is to be between 130-135lbs.

I am fairly active. I do a lot of skateboarding. Usually 2-3 times a week for about 2-5 hours each time. I am pretty sure that this can be my “exercise”. If I am wrong please let me know.

Diet probably won’t be that big of a problem for me. I just need an example of a weekly schedule and how many calories I can consume. The biggest issue on the diet for me is breaking my habit of soda. I’m a big coke fan, I know. Is diet or coke zero any better for me? If not I will try to stick with water.

Most of my weight seems to be in my thighs and hips. Is there any specific exercises I can do to help target this specific area?

I wanna hit my goal as soon as possible. Any information or answers to my questions will be greatly appreciated. I thank you all in advance.

160 at 5′5″ isn’t bad at all!! But to shed some lbs, make sure you eat breakfast EVERY DAY! Drink lots and lots of water. Cut and keep track of calories. 1200-1400 a day. The skateboarding is GREAT exercise. Just cut calories, and don’t drink anything with sugar or calories, they are pure empty calories. Opt for water, green tea, black coffee. The weight will fall right off.

I’ve been losing weight like crazy. I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast, fruit mid morning, a smart ones meal for lunch(made by weight watchers..they are delicious and only about 2 bucks), fruit, peanuts, or whole grain crackers for snack, and for supper, a bowl of soup and half a sandwich.

NEVER eat after 7.
