There actually is no “right time” to exercise. Most people like to say mornings because you’re able to get it done and not have to worry about it for the rest of the day. I personally like working out in the morning.

if you want to gain weight heres what i suggest to help bulk up. go to your local GNC or health store and pick up some protein mixes. look for the ones that say gainers or anything like that. or ask the clerk, they will know what your talkin about. i use muscle milk, not to gain weight but to gain lean muscle. it works really well for getting bigger muscles and also stayin lean at the same time. it also tastes really good. also you can workout whenever you feel most comfortable. at night you are generally more tired and not able to lift as much as you would in the mornin.

weightlifting helps you gain muscle weight, but not fat weight. I’ve been weight training for a month now and I’ve already gained 6 pounds in muscle. The best thing for you to do, is go to your local gym and they will teach you and provide you with the equipment. =] good luck.

I think it is a preference thing. I prefer to work out first thing in the morning, but my job won’t allow that. Weights is probably the best way to gain weight. Don’t ignore your aerobics though.

Its all about what time is good for you. if you can keep it consistent, great. If not, that’s OK too. the most important thing is to breath in as you lift, slow and deep and breathe out as you lower, slow and deep. when you lift, rest at the top for a count of 3 before lowering.
also, you always need a day in between lifting. ALWAYS!

if you work out in the morning, your matabilism will be reved up, thus you will burn more calories. You should eat, wait an hour or so, then exercise.
For muscle gain you want your diet to be about 40%protein, 30% fat, and 30% carbs.
When lifting weights, find what you are comfortable with. At maximaum, you should be lifting half your weight, and you will only be able to do a few reps. But high weight + few reps + 1 minute rest time between reps = muscle gain. And in turn weight gain.
Oh, eat before you go to bed. That way you can’t burn off that food that you ate.
Good luck. Take it slow. Be healthy with your weight gain.

you are in luck my friend, I am a professinal body builder ……first of all its diet .to gain lean muscle mass your muscle have the right fuel, i sugest you start with 100 grams of lean protein per day and a varity of whole grain /fruits and veggies .as far as your work out mid afternoon will be best for you around 3 pm……for at least 45 min late dinner will promate ATP storage for proper muscle mass regeneration.
